T he Beginning of His Musical Journey Joop Vudtinun made his debut as a solo artist with the album "Bai Wan Athit" ("Sunday Afternoon") in 1996, which was recorded in Boston, USA. The album featured timeless hits such as "Rak Chan Bang Rue Plao" ("Do You Love Me?") and "Ter Kap Dao" ("You and the Stars"), establishing his reputation as a warm and romantic pop artist with a signature deep and soulful vocal style. Following his debut, Joop released four more albums under leading record labels including Warner Music, Sony Music, and GMM Grammy. He later expanded his career into other areas of entertainment, including acting in two television dramas on Channel 3 and becoming a long-time host of the popular variety program "168 Hours" alongside Arm Viboon, Johnny Anfone, and Boat Viboonnant. He continued his role as a host for 10 years from 1997 to 2007. A Journey That Continues to Evolve Although his role as an executive has grown over the years, Joop Vudtinun’s passion as an artist has remained unchanged. During the 2010s, he continued creating music through special projects, including the soundtrack "Kae Kham Sanya" ("Just a Promise") for the drama "My Dad Is a Superstar" under Spicy Disc. The song became another memorable hit among listeners. He also released the romantic duet "Sud Tee Rak Kue Ter" ("My Dearest Is You") alongside his wife, VARITDA, expressing a heartfelt perspective on love through a warm, simple, and sincere musical interpretation. A New Chapter of His Musical Journey (2024–Present) Under Move Records, Joop Vudtinun returned to focus on his music career with renewed dedication, beginning with reinterpretations of quality songs through his own artistic perspective. His projects include "Kid Teung" ("Miss You") by Pongsit Kamphee, featuring collaborations with Koh Mr.Saxman and Soh ETC., as well as "Plai Fah" ("The Sky") by Malila Brazilian, featuring Maiyarap, a song originally written by Chatchai Duriyapraneat. He continued to share his perspective on enduring love through "You're My Every Reason (2=1)," a wedding anniversary song composed by Boyd Kosiyabong, and "Nae Non (Sure)," a song that reinforces the promise of lasting love, written by Fongbeer. In 2026, Joop released the single "Lop Mai Dai (Never Deleted)," written and composed by Ten Teerapak (Ten Smile Buffalo). The song tells a story of love that may not have reached its expected ending, yet remains filled with hope, positivity, and the strength to move forward.
